Who gets into the merchant programme
- Galaxus does not open its online shops to every provider but only works with selected merchants. Whether merchant and range fit is decided individually.
- The programme is aimed at professional merchants with established IT, meaning an online shop or ERP.
- The application runs via the Galaxus Partner Portal.
- The purchase contract is concluded directly between you and the customer, you ship yourself and keep control over pricing. Galaxus brokers the sale, processes the payment and handles first-level customer service and return registration.
- For marketplace merchants from the EU, Galaxus handles customs clearance into Switzerland on request.

How the integration with Galaxus works
Galaxus calls integration via interface a basic requirement, because products cannot be entered by hand. There are two levels:
- Partial automation: at least once a day, you deliver your sales range with prices and stock as a CSV file to a Galaxus FTP server. You process orders, status messages and shipping notifications by hand in the Partner Portal.
- Full automation: in addition, orders come directly into your system. You report order status and completion from your system back to Galaxus as an XML file.

What matters in the product data
Galaxus places great value on complete product information. In December 2024, the shop held 90 million product specifications, on average just under eleven properties per product. According to Galaxus, which offer customers see depends on price and availability; better placement cannot be bought. A complete feed that is up to date every day is therefore the real lever.
